Shikshashree scheme

Shikshashree is a development scheme of West Bengal State Government. Under this scheme, the state government will provide annual scholarship to scheduled caste and tribal students studying in Madhyamik label.One of which is the 'Shikshasree' project.the state government launched a new scheme called 'Shikshasree' for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes students .

The benefits of this Shikshashree Scheme are given below-

ST and SC category students of class V to VIII will get annual scholarship from the state government.
SC students will get annual scholarship of Rs. 800 (from Class V- VII) and Rs. 800 (Class VIII).
Scholarship in ST category will be given at the rate of Rs. 800 per year (from Class V - VIII).
The state government will arrange for students to open bank accounts under this scheme.

Who will benefit from this project?

People of all scheduled caste and tribal communities of the state of West Bengal will get the benefit of Shikshashree scheme.. But in this case he must be a permanent resident of West Bengal.
Under this scheme, Madhyamik scholarships are given to Madhyamik candidates from class V to VIII. As a result, all the students studying in that class will come under this scheme..
Children of families whose annual income is less than two and a half lakh rupees will be covered under this scheme. But for this he has to fulfill the above two conditions.
and that the students should belong to a Scheduled Caste and an Adivasi group called Tapsili in West Bengal.

For students of the Shikshashree scheme, the government provides a login portal for Shikshasree users. Users can easily log into their accounts. Follow the steps to know how to login Shikshashree portal.

ii. You can see the login page. (showing below)

iii. Any Students can log in at School Level. First, you have to select your User type from the list at School Level.

iv. Collect User ID and Password for institute . Enter User ID and Password after that enter the Captcha Code and press the Login button.

After entering all the correct information and pressing the login button, you can successfully login to institute account.
